Hi everyone!

I have a particular data base counting 28 days of recording behaviors. Every day has a different number of behavior depending on the participant (between 0 and 35 behaviors). Seven categories of behaviors are recorded and each time the participant write a behavior, they also have to write how disruptive the behavior was (between 0 and 4). In the data base, the colomn 1 represent the type of behavior, and the column 2 represent the disruptiveness related to the behavior in colomn 1, the colomn 3 contains the type of behavior 2 and the colomn 4 represents the disruptiveness associated with the behavior in colomn 3, etc (See the joint file).. So the colomn 1 and 3 contains different kid of behavior depending on the participant (they noted the behavior in the order of apparition during their day). My question is: I want to calculate the mean of the disruptiveness related to each type of behavior. For exemple, I want to calculate the mean of the disruptiveness when the behavior is agitation, i have to include all, but only, the disruptiveness associated with agitation. Do you know a way to do so?

Thank you so much,

Audrey
