I have a 3d object in obj format. I can open it using sciview plugin in imageJ but don't know how to measure the x y z dimensions of the object. Thus, if I slice the 3d object to images, I don't know what should be the thickness of each of the images. If I restack the images together, because the default thickness is just 1 pixel, the restacked 3d object is actually deformed. Anyone has any idea about this issue?

For measurements you can try our GigaMesh Software Framework (see my projects and https://gigamesh.eu) If you import a Wavefront(?) OBJ you just have to press CTRL+i to see the mesh properties including the bounding box dimensions (x, y and z). You can also select points (SelMPos) along the surface and measure their euclidean and geodesic distances.
You can also retrieve properties from multiple OBJs using the command line tool gigamesh-info which is also in the packages.

Hubert Mara Is there any way to know the coordinates of my selected vertices? Not the distance between vertices. Appreciate it!
For a single Vertex (SelVert) marked with an orange star you just have to press the "i" key.
Selected multiple vertices is a bit more tricky: "Select" -> "Invert SelMVerts" than "Edit" -> "Remove SelMVerts". Finaly "File" -> "Save as" choose OBJ as it is plain text with the coordinates in the lines beginning with "v" which are easily extracted with "grep" and "cut" .
