During the knockout process, I found that my Salmonella was resistant to multiple antibiotics and could not screen successfully imported transgenes. Moreover, my bacteria seems to be very vigorous, and the coated plate is always full of the whole board after transformation, without single bacterial colony. Do you have any good solutions?

Dear Pi,
we have successfully used the method described in this paper editing MDR Acinetobacter. The authors used Tellurite as a selection marker which worked very good also in our hands.

Unfortunately I am not very familiar with Salmonella, so maybe someone else could comment on the fancy growth on the plates?
