Does anyone has some suggestions about the isolation of the immune cells, endothelial cells and epithelial cells in lung? I am going to do some q-PCR to measure some gene level in these different cells. The problem is that immune cells may be not enough for RNA level analysis because of the low abundance in lung, all suggestions welcome!

We regularly isolate endothelial cells from skin using Dynabeads™ CD31 Endothelial Cell from invitrogen. The piece of tissue is digested in 0.25% collagenase for up to two hours and then we follow the manufacturer protocol. You can use the same approach to isolate immune cells, Miltenyi Biotec has a large selection of kits on their website.
