I want to isolate SIV (and later on also SHIV) viruses from rhesus macaques who had been challenged IR and have over years of infection without any suppressive treatment. This samples though have a low viral load (>100 viral rna copies per ml).
Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

Dear you can do cell sorting and select the cells you want containing SIV and SHIV.

First of all, thank you for taking the time helping me with my question.
Unfortunately, I can't sort cells because what I have are plasma samples and the problem that I have is on infection animal cells with a low viral load plasma. Thus my question is towards on how to potentialize the infection of animal naive cells with infected plasma that has a low level of viral RNA copies per ml.
Any suggestions?
