You could use the CUSTOM MODELER if you have that ASPEN license. In ASPEN PLUS you can make a user defined block with your PSA logic programmed in an EXCEL subroutine or in a FORTRAN subprogram. In your user module you can include two or more adsorption unit operations in different states of pressure swings.

Use Aspen Adsorption to simulate the PSA unit and then export the results via Excel workbook to a splitter unit in Aspen Hysys.

I am fully agree with Jerry. Moreover, As per my knowledge, if you want to use Aspen custom modeler, up to now you only can use the model in Aspen Plus, not in Hysys. Recently, I am also looking for anyone who can integrate the ACM with Aspen Hysys. Good luck!

I am building up a hollow fiber membrane in ACM, then It will be integrated into ASPEN PLUS, I have the codes of the hollo fiber but I am still not able to compile it, any one who can help, would be much thankful.

Please any suggestions on how to model a PSA for hydrogen separation from a hydrogen rich stream on aspen adsorption? They have built in demonstrations for a 5 component stream but i havent used adsim before and finding it difficult to get any resources on the internet . any help pls will be appreciated.

This process is a Skarstrom cycle. Doug Ruthven's text book is a good starting point.

Re Multicomponent membrane separation, I have developed spreadsheet code for asymmetric membranes in performance mode, using individual component permeability values, and ignoring any non-ideal interactions. Up-to-date public domain component permeability data is limited, and is specific to the materials of the membrane. Publications by C.Y.Pan are good references for modelling.
