Dear all, I downloaded the template zip file from springer website, https://www.springer.com/gp/livingreviews/latex-templates,
and I am trying to type an equation with vertical lines using the following commands:
...
\documentclass[sn-basic,iicol]{sn-jnl}
\begin{equation}
a = |b|
\enq{equation}
...
Which should work as I expected, but it comes out as 'a=b' with a bold letter 'b'.
I couldn't figure where I went wrong, please help me.
