I am working on green synthesis of selenium nanoparticles, the yield of the nanoparticles is very low after sonication and centrifugation. can you suggest ways to increase the yield?
Is it low because the amount of reduced selenium ions is low or because the particles do not sediment in the centrifugation process?
For consultation it is necessary to know how you got selenium nanoparticles. The words "green synthesis" carry little information.

The pellet that I get after centrifugation is very little. The synthesis process is for 2 hr, after which I synthesis my solution. But, the pellet yield is very low, for which I am assuming it is the produced nanoparticles
You have to figure out the limiting reagent here. This could most probably be the reducing agents from plant extract. Try to concentrate the extract. Hope this will work.
