If I know the answer how to increase the rates/yields of water oxidation/reduction, I would first do experimental work in my laboratory. The answer to your question is a very valuable intellectual property. This is probably a reason why you don't disclose any details of your system.
Dear Professor Yurii V Geletii, I didnt asked for someone personal property just asked to share personal experience. It could be sacrificial agent/cocatalyst or some additive to facilitate catalyst/coacatalyst or sacrificial agent. So I dont think its something very important as we find alot of literature on these materials. I asked some seniors to share their experience to get some hints and knowledge. Thank you
I am using ZnFe2O4 for H2 production. In literature they reported H2 production but at the same time I didnt get any production. So I asked question here.
If you follow the procedure reported in the literature and have no H2 with your catalyst, this simply means your material is catalytically inactive. It might be thousand reason why it's inactive. There is a chance that you modify the conditions and see the activity. Again, you did not provide details and therefore there is no suggestions. In addition, keep in mind that sometimes the literature data appear to be irreproducible.
