For the already installed dynamo only option is improving the rotating condition by reducing friction..as the o/p rating is fixed.....or install high rated new equipment.

You can increase the efficiency by conserving the generated power. For ex. you should use a LED for lighting in the bicycle instead of bulbs, etc.

You should also store the generated energy by connecting a rechargeable battery of suitable rating to the dynamo.

you can increase the efficiency by replacing the normal DC generator by BLDC generator. BLDC is 2.5 time more efficient than DC generator.
