You can take look at the book "Rock-forming Minerals: Double-Chain Silicates" by Deer et al., 1997, if you can find them in your university's library I think that book is the most extensive one. Hawthorne and Oberti, 2006 "On the classification of amphiboles" may be useful, too. There is also a report from 1997 by Leake, et al. Overall, my suggestion is that you should look at the IMA reports.
