i try to form imine compound from (diacetyl monoxime and isonitrosoacetylacetone) with a primary amine (not free amine but in salt form as it commercially available with hydrochloric acid (amine.HCL) . i face a struggle in imine precipitation as can not get precipitate or crystal yield from reaction .the imine product appears as sticky liquid and does not dry easily and after weeks i scratch it by spatula so the product is not pure.

note: the reactant and product have similar polarty.
