LG beams have a singularity in the center of the beam i.e it is dark. I would like to know what are the conditions and how to guide a Gaussian (TEM00 mode) light through the central part of a LG beam. Any reference papers will be appreciated. Thanks.

LG beams can only guide the material particles not other photons. If we want we can propagate the Gaussian beam in LG beam center by making both coaxial beams by polarizing beam splutters or beam splutters for same wavelength and dicrhoic mirrors for for different wavelengths case
