If you have only 16srRNA data then you can to use a tool named PICRUST (http://picrust.github.io/picrust/); however, if you have a metatranscriptome data set then you can use any annotation tool such as BLAST2GO or KAAS etc.

Is it possible to analyse gene of interest and it's metabolic pathways from 16s rRNA data by PRICUST?

What will be advantage of metatrancriptomic analysis over 16s rRNA?

I'm planning to do microbiome analysis of a sample to identify microbial community, microbes interaction and want to visualise target gene(s) and metabolic pathways. What would you like to suggest to go for that? Especially after sequencing of all variable regions (V1-V6)?

16S rRNA data is really only good for identification of the bacteria/archaea in your samples. PICRUST will infer potential genome content based on common ancestor analysis to sequenced genomes where the content is already known. You cannot know the metabolic pathways in your sample based on 16S data alone.

Metatranscriptomics will allow you to analyze the transcribed genes in your samples (if you can get mRNA) and allow you to infer potential metabolic pathways or functions.
