Regardless of type of analysis, we can evaluate an output at one node or at a line, surface, etc... When an output is evaluated on a surface (several nodes), ANSYS uses an algebraic summation of nodal outputs which is not helpful for some problems.
So that it is of interest if ANSYS can offer an RMS evaluation of nodal outputs on a surface or on a line....
That's, right and the forces are my concern which evaluation based on a simple summation is meaningless.
In the recent version of ANSYS Workbench (2021R2), it is possible to write Python script. However, the nodal output can be also extracted through graphic interface for the data processing in Mtalab or Python...
