I have two matrix plots for two different cases. In which each grid or bin of matrix contains the slope value for the data cover within that bin.
Now I tried to calculate percentage change to find the difference between two matrix plots but as I have few negative and positive values in each grid of matrix, the values of percentage change misleading the statistics.
Is it normalize percentage change work ? If yes, how one can calculate it?
Or is there any other way to calculate statstically significant difference between two matrix plots?

I think you have to create new Data sheet either on SPSS or MS EXCEL where you would placed the new selected values of two different Matrix plot giving the values different names as Variable 1 and Variable 2. By doing this you can get your new SPSS Diagramatic presentations and Data Analysis Tables and you can perform T Test , Anova or others.

Try the histogram of the differences, it could give you some new insights.

I think that I have not conveyed my question properly.
I already have heat map or matrix plot for two different cases and want to find a significant way to estimate the difference between them.
Herewith I attached my files that can clear the view of my query.
In this figure, I plotted precipitation susceptibility [d ln(Ri)/d ln(AOD)] as a function of ice water path (IWP) and vertical velocity (W500h hPa) for two cases [(a) DII and (b) DNI , respectively].
Here, what are the statistically correct methods I can used to show the changes between these?
