I am trying to simulation rupture in bending process as shown in here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvP8f0gd1VY). I figured out that I need to use Gurson model in Ansys WB to do it. After implementing Gurson model, the elements didn't get deleted, i.e., element erosion didn't happen. So, I realized that I need to add element erosion in the model. However, unlike he case of explicit simulation, in Ansys WB static Structural (implicit method) element erosion is not available.
So, my question is that how I can get the 'element erosion' work in Ansys WB static structural?

you can search for the element kill and alive command to remove the element that reach certain point or value that you must specify but do not expect erosion results like in the video to be exported by the implicit solver you can use different approach by explicit dynamics using quasi static setup but you will need to spend some time trying mass scaling parameters
