Simple question, I think.
We have 125 plots, each sampled for plant species pre- and post-fire. We're using Betapart in R. Beta.temp produces three nice columns showing the change in beta diversity over time for nestedness, turnover, and total beta diversity. But we can't figure out how to get those same three values for each plot separately for pre-fire and for post-fire. We've tried beta.pair, beta.multi, etc.
We'd greatly appreciate any guidance.

As you mention in your question, beta-diversity metrics are generated by comparing diversity. In your case are comparisons in time. Beta-diversity refers to how similar or how different are T1 versus T2. For diversity measures, at a single site or time you should calculate any diversity index (e.g Jost diversity).
