Hello all,
I need to get a composite phylogeny for around 80 bat species to perform Phylogenetic Independent Contrasts on some morphological and life history trait data. However, Im an evo scrub and can't seem to find a good resource to get my taxa of interest into a tree for this analysis, any help.advice is appreciated.

If you're doing your analyses in R, I'd suggest using the rotl package, which lets you directly access the Open Tree of Life. You can just use the tnrs_match_names() function to match your species binomials to the OTL records and then use tol_induced_subtree() to obtain a phylogeny. The developers also provide a nice set of tutorials on their site.
