How we can obtain a patent ? because in our domain (soil science & plant nutrition)is not easy to make invention/ or patent projects !!! what you think?

But, i sad that in our domain like soil science for example is not easy to find ideas for a patent protect !!
Patents are territorial exclusive rights remain valid for limited period of time. Due to non uniformity of each country's rules/act/norms to award an invention as patent, it is possible that you found your domain is lack of patents. However, It is not impossible to get patent on invention but necessity is that your invention should have all essential criteria (e.g. novelty, inventive step & utility) as per particular country's patentability rules/act/norms. For instances Indian Patent Act 1970 doesn't allow patentability to new polymorphic forms of known substance but if you prove efficacy of same polymorph then it is patentable. On other hand, in USA you can get patent for new polymorphic form even if you don't prove its efficacy.
To understand reality of patent filing in your domain I choose two key words (FERTILIZER AND AGROCHEMICAL) and conducted search in Abstract field in USPTO Patent Search Portal. (Search String: ABST/FERTILIZER AND ABST/AGROCHEMICAL) I found nine results even after restricted with Abstract limitation !
As per my own personal opinionated stance, I really found patentable subject matter in you domain but first and must essential requirement is that your invention satisfy all patentability requirements of territory where you wants to file a patent.
