How to get a good matching of refractive index between acrylic and water? What kind of substance should I add into a water to increase its refractive index?
Glycerol will take you close.
The best match will have a lot more glycerol than water. Are there any other requirements for the mixture?

Actually I have to do an experiment by using a water.
Some additives may change the properties but can be ignored for a small value change.
However if I completely change the liquid from water to glycerol means a new analysis of liquid property effect should be conducted.
In this case, do you know any solid transparent material whose refractive index close to the water refractive index?

OK, different question.
Various polymers including a range of silicones and flurorosilicones have low refractive indices in the range 1.3 to 1.4.
Many of these were developed as coatings or for encapsulation of optical or electronic components, so make sure that the mechanical properties are compatible with your application.

If you don't need an exact index match, another possibility is Magnesium Fluoride (n=1.378) provided you can live with some birefringence.
