I've welded two alloys, zirconia and stainless steel (SS), together. While I can determine the corrosion rates of these alloys individually, I'm seeking methods to calculate the corrosion rate specifically for the weld zone, which is very small, approximately 1mm.

You have a galvanized zirconium/stainless steel pair. Fuse zirconium onto thin stainless steel plastic. Polish the galvanic couple on all sides and measure the corrosion rate.
You can machine the desired dimensions via cooled laser cutting for instance just the weld metal or HAZ and than apply test on it
