Hi all, I am having set of images. In each image area of interest is known. I want to extract color, texture and edge features in that area of interest. Giving this features to classifier for training. when new image is given for testing, classifier should identify and locate that area of interest in image. I am not having any idea, how to make it work. any matlab implementation is available? how to extract feature and train classifier? thanks...

1- Did you divide the image into x smaller images where the area of interest in one of them?
2- What is the type of images you are working with?
3- How big is your image?
4- Is the time an issue for you?
5- for any new image handled by the system, there will be at least one area of interest? or may be null?
