I want to plot the velocity and shear stress for a multiphase simulation using cfd-post or Fluent. After going through several sources, I knew that I had to select "Data Sampling" option in Fluent before running the simulation in order to get the time-averaged results, which I did not do.
At this stage, I knew it requires a script to extract the time averaged values and I have no experience in Flunet of cfd-post scripts.
Any one could help me regarding that matter? I need to finish it in two weeks at most.

Indeed, field-averaging does not seem to be a standard feature (which is unfortunate). However, you can write a quite simple averaging UDF using the "execute at end" macro, and setting a number of user defined memory fields, one for each averaged variable.
For example
C_UDMI(cell,tr,0) = (C_UDMI(cell,tr,0)*(timer-1) + C_U(cell,tr))/(timer) ;
stores a running average of the x-velocity in memory location 0, with timer being an incremental counter to keep track of the averaging steps.

Note that makes physical sense for the sampling of data only after the numerical transient is ended.
