We have peptide with improved stability and resistance to peptidases, but we have problem with excretion.. our drug excreted from blood about several minutes after intravenous injection. What would you suggest for the half-life extension and the distribution in the whole body? We need improve half-life to week or days.

We need to preserve the bioavailability of that peptide penetrated into the cells. Covalent bond can disrupt the penetration of the peptide through the membrane and we would very much like to have a non-covalent bond with an agent that increases the half-life. Or it could be a small agent. But XTEN and PEG are quite large, so this option is not suitable for us. In XTEN or PEG-ilated peptide will increase the half-life time, but lost all efficiency.
