I have done the DIC analysis by using the free source Ncorr in Matlab. I want to extract the displacement data in Excel or text form. Please help me out.
Ncorr is a computer program that helps analyze the displacement or movement of objects in images. It's like a special tool that scientists or engineers use to study how things move.
Now, imagine you have a video of a bouncing ball, and you want to know how much the ball moves from frame to frame. Ncorr can help you with that! It analyzes the video and gives you information about how the ball's position changes over time.
After you've analyzed the video using Ncorr in a program called Matlab, you might want to export or save the data in a format that you can easily open and work with, like Excel or a text file.
Exporting the displacement data means taking the information you found about how the ball moved and saving it in a different file format. It's like taking a picture you drew on paper and making a copy of it on the computer.
So, if you want to export the displacement data in Excel form, it means you want to save the information in a file that Excel can open and show you in a nice table. It's like writing down the numbers you found about the ball's movement in a neat and organized way.
Alternatively, if you want to export the data in text form, it means you want to save the information in a simple file that you can open with any basic text editor. It's like writing down the numbers about the ball's movement in a plain and straightforward way.
By exporting the data, you can easily share it with others or use it for further analysis. It's like sharing your drawing with a friend or using it to make a cool animation on the computer!
I hope this explanation helps you understand how to export displacement data using Ncorr!
Please recommend my reply if you find it useful ,Thank you
I want to measure the displacement or coordinates of the specific points (1, 2, 3, 4) which I marked on the image (as attached) with some origin (0). I have recorded the video from the DSLR. The coordinates of the points will change with time. I want to measure the coordinates of the movable specific points with some predefined origin (marked as 0). Please do the needful.
