Hello dear scientists,

I was testing lipid peroxidation "MDA marker" in mussels digestive gland and everytime I was otaining an orange color.

In my protocol I used TCA, TBA and Hcl. But in litterature I find that the normal color to obtain is pink.

The color persists even when diluted to obtain a light orange color near to yellow.

Any answer for this case?
