27 February 2015 1 2K Report

Dear all,

In my previous question (https://www.researchgate.net/post/Why_16S_rRNA_gene_cant_be_found_in_my_single-cell_genome_assembly#54ef76f7f15bc7a4138b4618), I was advised to assemble my SAGs using SPAdes. Here I attached the QUAST reports of Newbler assembly, SPAdes assembly and another SPAdes assembly using 'multicell' mode. I found the sizes of assemblies varied a lot. Here I want to know if there are any solid standards for SAG assembly and how to define if it's a bad/good assembly. Thanks.

Cheers,

Fang
