Which is the most preferable satellite for downloading daily temperature data country wise?
The ERA-5 data from the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) is the preferred choice due to its temporal (3-hourly, daily) and spatial resolution (0.25*0.25 deg). The ERA-5 data has a long time period of 39 years (1981-2020).

Also,
The temperature dataset can be acquired from the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Climatic Data Center.
If you want the data from Indian territory then ask to IMD for genuine data.
as NOAA gives you the data too but its not perfect as IMD.
