Hello... friends, i have prepared some AlCuMn alloys and identified some Mn-rich phases. Please help what kind of these phase can be and how to interpret the diffraction pattern of these phases. Thanks a lot in advance

Dear Soban,

To find out the phases you have from diffraction pattern, you need to have the XRD data, too. And, also you can calculate the distance and angle of the spot by Digital Micrograph to find out the seed pattern and crystal orientation.Then, you will be able to recognize the phase.

From your elements, It seems you looking for quasicrystal, is that right?
