Redmud have multiple phases of hematite, gibbsite, anatase and many more. For conducting XRD phase refinement, I'm using FP suite which allows loading of single CIF file at a time. Can we upload more than one CIF file or for performing multiphase refinement we need manually feed data for each phases?
Dear Rini,
The Rietveld refinement of the multiple phases systems can be performed by using FullProf Suite. In the FP software one can import cif file having multiple phase, however, at a time only one cif file can be imported. To perform multi phase refinement you have to enter different phases mutually one by one. During the refinement, first perform Le-bail fit and then Rietveld refinement of the present phases one after another.

Yes,, of course, one can always perform Le-bail fit using FullProf Suite.
