I am doing dynamic analysis of PIPE contained with fluid using ansys workbench. While choosing the fluid elements from engineering data, it shows error message. I think it does not represent actual behaviour of water Please anybody help me to know how to input fluid property from the engineering data in modal/ harmonic analysis.

For modeling pipe with fluid use type element of HSFLD242 (in 3-D) or HSFLD241 (2-D) - see "Example Model Using Hydrostatic Fluid Elements" and "Hydrostatic Fluid Analysis of an Inflating and Rolling Tire" in help ANSYS. Example of APDL insertion in ANSYS Workbench in attached file.
It should be noted that the first first waveforms (and frequencies) do not differ much when calculating using fluid or with the addition of liquid mass as a distributed mass.
If you want to model exactly the behavior of the liquid then use the element Fluid29 (2-D), Fluid30, Fluid80(in earlier versions ANSYS) - see "Example: Acoustic-Structural Coupled Modal Resonance of an Annular Ring Submerged in Water with a Harmonic Analysis".
Aleksey Tabeev has already given the suggestion. if you are just interested in the pipe structure and excluding the FSI (Fluid Structure Interaction) then adjust the density of fluid in the material card of the pipe structure. It can be done by adding the mass of the fluid per unit length of the pipe and update the density of pipe material. it will give you the more accurate natural frequencies.
