I’m struggling with a experimental design. I have an alternative C, that has 4 attributes (X1, X2, X3, X4) with (2, 3, 4 and 3) levels respectively.
What I want is that respondents rate the alternative according to different scenarios of this alternatives attributes.
Something like this:
ESCENARIO 1: rate from 1 to 5 (consider 1 is the lowest and 5 the hihghest score) the comfort of the bus service according to the following attributes:
- Spacious seats
- Tv Available
- Food available and water available
- Big windows
1__ 2__ 3__ 4__ 5__
ESCENARIO 2: rate from 1 to 5 (consider 1 is the lowest and 5 the hihghest score) the comfort of the bus service according to the following attributes:
- Spacious seats
- No Tv Available
- Just water available
- Med sized windows
1__ 2__ 3__ 4__ 5__
How can I do this experimental design, on spss or other software?
I do not know if this helps but you may want to know about matrix sampling designs - you give subsets of questions to random subsets but analyse them all altogether:
