Hello, GMO food can be detected by PCR with specific markers. Basically, soy beans and tomato are 95% GMO because once they made GMO, its seed distributes through wind to the other plants. It is impossible to control. Almost all seeds of beans are GMO. Insect persistant, fast growing plant. Just by observation we can't distinguish them. And even after inspection although they know it is GMO, some countries cannot destroy the food because of economic reason.
