I am working on linguistic glossing of Mbendjee Yaka (BantuC10) language and I have problem with this 'tééééééé'. Any advice on how to figure out whether it is ideophone or expletive? Thank you.

Does the "tééééééé" refer to the "lenght" of the sound? I don't know this language, but how would the "normal" word for "a lot" be? Just "té"?
I think an ideophone is a perfect unit of sound produced without any physical or emotional effort. The expletive, on the other hand, is a perfect unit of sound produced with physical or emotional effort.. I personally always keep in mind this major subtlety in dealing with any language I wish to study!
I personally don't think this an ideophone. Call it whatever you like but ideophones are usually introduced by 'say' or 'do' or modify adjectival verbs. What you have looks like an adverb that express high frequency or intensity.
