I have a material for sealing the pipe and other gaps in metallurgical processes. I suppose that is epoxy resin with metal oxides, but need to be sure. According to performed FTIR and literature data, it can be the epoxy resin.
For uncrosslinked Epoy resin try Dimethylformamid as a solvent at room temperatur,
for crosslinked Epoxy resin use hot DMF at about 60 to80 °C for a few hours (you have to experiment)
Please watch the safty regulations if handling with DMF.

Methylethylketone (MEK, butan-2-one, CH3-C(O)-CH2-CH3) is also a reasonable solvent for epoxy resins.
Similarly, MIBK (Methyl isobutyl ketone, 4-Methylpentan-2-one) is worth a shot.
As above, have a look at the MSDS - both are flammable solvents and I can't remember their toxicity information.
Thank you so much. It was very useful.
I want to add CaO into inhibitor/thermal insulation, manufactured from epoxy/phenolic resin, for solid rocket propellants in order to enhance the thermal stability of such system. Thank You in...
