How to differentiate Leuconostoc, Weisella, and Oenococcus. Recently we are working with LAB and found that the isolates were Cocci, Gram positive, catalase negative, non-spore forming bacterium, and produce CO2 from glucose fermentation. However, when we check the genus level we found it rather complicated due to those isolates were match with Leuconostoc, Weisella, and Oenococcus. Could we diferentiate between Lc, W, and oe?
