How to develop processing maps for hot deformation operations?

I have conducted hot compression tests on Mg alloy at various temperatures and strain rates but i am unable to figure out that how to use this data to plot processing maps.

I have read many papers discussing the theoretical procedure of making processing maps i.e power dissipation maps, instability maps and several equations explaining various features. But on the real ground i am still unable to understand the detail procedure to reach till creating processing maps.

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
