I would like to determine (through measurements and/or digital simulation) the permissible step (or sudden) load change on a battery. The main target is to satisfy the safe limits such as constraints on the electrochemical reactions. Therefore, please inform me about the test procedure and the suitable mathematical models for any type of batteries.

Should be the power delivered at the maximum rated current (from a practical POV); if you want to use an electrochemical model, then you could use a typical P2D model that performs well at higher C-rates and perform a Ragone type analysis.
