I want to recruit 970 students using a multistage random sampling. The first stage is the random sampling of secondary schools (clusters). The total number of clusters in this case is 50. Then, the second stage is the random sampling of lower secondary classes (clusters) of the randomly selected schools which in total 973 classes altogether. The final stage is the random sampling of the students from the randomly selected classes.

My problem now is how do I decide the number of clusters to pick?
