How to detect chromosomes from stingless honey bee?

I want to know how many chromosomes present in stingless honey bee species. Please get me the standard procedure used to identify chromosome number in stingless bees. To study the chromosome number, which part of the cells can give the mitosis stages for study . I want to do karyotype of stingless bee species . Thank you.
