If only pre-exponential factor and activation energy of a reaction are provided, can the reaction and kinetics be used in ANSYS Fluent? If the corresponding temperature exponent and rate exponent are not available and not included in the Fluent, can the simulation provide accurate results?
Example:
CH3OH + 1.5 O2 = CO2 + 2 H2O
(pre-exponential coefficient 1.799e+10 and activation energy value of 1.256e+8 (J/kg mole).

The answer to your first question- Yes, You can define the reaction rate by keeping the other factors (concentration order and temperature exponent) equal to zero.
The answer to your second question- No, if the data is not available for the temperature and rate exponents, we cannot simply assume them to be equal to zero and expect fluent simulations to give you a correct result.
A remedy- For the above reaction you can use the methyl-alcohol-air model, pre-defined in fluent database.
The Reactions dialog box (opened by clicking on the Edit... button next to Reaction Model in the Create/Edit Materials dialog box) allows you to define the reactions that comprise a mixture material. See Section 15.1.3 for details about using this dialog box.
(Note that the Reactions dialog box is a modal dialog, which means that you must tend to it immediately before continuing the property definitions.)
