I am in need to finalize the operating frequency of SRAM cell, when working with Cadence vituoso software and pulse wise linear (pwl) supply is used.
please give me valuable suggestion how to decide the frequency.
Thanks
The SRAM speed is determined by
- The read operation time where the address transistors are made on and the content is written in the sell
- The right operation time where the address transistors are made on and the cell transistors are written
- The read write cycle which is composite of a read followed by write operation.
The minimum time of read and the minimum time of write operation make the minimum read write cycle time.
The highest frequency of the read write cycle= 1/( tmin read + tmin write)
Best wishes
Thanks Zekry sir for your kind support....
I think maximum of read and write time decide operating frequency
