In Iran, science has been mixed with politics and you encounter many faculty members especially in official section whom promoted because of their party not for their scientific capabilities and they behave as psychopaths. They mob and restrict promotion of good self dependent scientists. Please discuss your opinions regarding this subject.

I would suggest doing all you can to improve the situation. Talk with authorities and leaders within the organization. If it becomes a serious issue and what you can do is not affecting the outcome, I would consider moving to a different city/university/or country, if I were you.
Avoid them as much as you can. They are smart to manipulate other people and those not familiar with psychopathy may not believe the victim. I have attended Hare's lectures.
