Dear researchers, I have a technical query regarding development of rating curve of tidal river. The tidal rivers are subjected to both tial influx of sea water as well as backwater effect during the tide fall. There are few hours in a day where the river drains only due to gravity i.e. river bed elevation decreasing alongthe downstream till the meeting point with sea and also due to the hydraulic pressure difference.

So are there any recent papers from 2022 Jan where researchers have focused on both these factors and successfully developed a rating curve for any tidal river. Please suggest.

Thanks.
