How to correlate my new scale for measuring leaders performance with instruments (MLQ,LPI, ALQ,LBDQ) to assess convergent or discriminant validity?

For validation do i need to use my own data by using other scales like MLQ and compare the results , if so how this process can be achieved?

Yes, highly advisable, especially for publication. Ideally, you administer all scales (including your own) to the same sample and examine the patterns of correlation, partial correlation, multiple regression, factor structure, etc.
