I did a MeOH extract on a food sample using 1g in 10ml. I evaporate my sample after the extraction then resolubilised in 10ml MeOH for TPC assay. I used gallic acid std. curve measured in mg/L. After doing my assay using 100uL from the 10ml sample, I got 93 and 102 mg GAE using my std. curve. How can I now report that as mg/g of food sample? (Also I already know the moisture content of the food sample to adjust my results for that at the end).
Can someone please help with a very simple explanation. I have done this before but it was a few years ago and I totally forgot.
