I modeled the beam with solid element and shell elements, in both cases load-deflection response is same. When I modeled the beam the shell element, I have prevented the shear locking effect by using reduced integration technique, i.e., by taking S4R element. The deflection of beam obtained from ABAQUS is lesser than actual deflection of beam.

Displacements in any FEM are generally less than the actual true solution (i.e. FEM is stiffer), the thing is you keep increasing the number of used elements to reach a good level of accuracy that does not affect the representability of your results

Mina I agree with you, but low deflection from FEM software is because of the high stiffness provided in the model and improper modelling of structure.
