How to connect 3D Truss UEL with 3D Shell elements (S4R)?

Hello,

In my simulation I have 3D column with S4R elements and one small 3D truss element which is defined by an UEL subroutine.

The column is axially loaded. The column is pinned at bottom and roller support at top. I am attaching the input file for reference.

When I run the simulation I am getting an error:

***ERROR: DEGREE OF FREEDOM 3 IS NOT ACTIVE ON NODE 2 INSTANCE PART-2-1 - THIS LOADING IS NOT VALID

Can someone please tell me how to solve this?
