What are the required characteristics of the BPF? Not every filter can be done on microstrip resonators due to their low Q-factor.

Thanks for your reply.It is microstrip loop filter based on Step Impedance resonator. The measured insertion loss is 0.95 dB, measured return loss is 15 dB, bandwidth (150 MHz) and center frequency is  5.8 GHz.

This filter is a narrowband. Its relative bandwidth is equal to 2.5%. In my opinion, it can not be done on microstrip lines due to the low Q-factor resonators. Browse through the book "Microwave Filters, Impedance-Matching Networks, and Coupling Structures" of Matthaei, Young, Jones, Let's see what resonators are used for such filters.
